Pool Pump Pro Privacy Policy

Overview

Pool Pump Pro is provided by Pool By Engineer. The app helps pool professionals and advanced owners calculate pool pump sizing, hydraulic head, pump curve performance, and report outputs for pool and spa equipment.

This policy explains what information is processed by the app, Google Play, and Firebase services used for subscription verification.

Information You Enter

The app lets you enter pool volume, turnover, flow, pipe size, pipe length, fittings, valves, equipment pressure loss, elevation, pump selection, pressure readings, and related hydraulic inputs. These project and calculation inputs are processed on the device for sizing, evaluation, saved project files, and shareable PDF reports.

Project files and PDF reports are created only when you choose to save or share them. If you share a report with another person or service, that sharing is controlled by you through Android's share or file picker options.

Subscription And Account Data

Pool Pump Pro uses Google Play Billing for the monthly subscription. Google Play processes payment information under Google's own policies. Pool Pump Pro does not receive your full payment card number.

When you start, restore, or verify a subscription, the app may use Firebase Authentication to create an anonymous app user identifier and may send a Google Play purchase token to a Firebase Cloud Function. The backend verifies the purchase with Google Play and stores entitlement data such as subscription status, product ID, base plan ID, expiry time, acknowledgement status, verification time, anonymous user ID, and a hashed purchase-token reference.

Data Sharing

Pool Pump Pro uses Google Play and Firebase services to provide subscriptions and entitlement verification. Data is shared with these Google services only as needed to operate the app, verify purchases, prevent abuse, and maintain subscription access.

We do not sell personal data.

Data Retention

Locally saved project files remain on your device or in the storage location you choose. Subscription entitlement records are retained as needed to verify access, support account recovery, resolve billing issues, and comply with platform or legal requirements.

Security

The app uses Google Play Billing and Firebase services for subscription verification. No method of storage or transmission is completely risk-free, but we use platform-supported services and do not intentionally collect more information than is needed for the app's operation.

Children

Pool Pump Pro is intended for pool professionals, service technicians, designers, and advanced owners. It is not directed to children.

Your Choices

• You can choose not to save project files or share PDF reports.
• You can manage or cancel your Google Play subscription through your Google Play account.
• You can request help with subscription access or data questions by contacting us.
